bring you back here locally, the sun was actually out at the beach as we make our final preparations on the maryland coast and across the state so far the weather is quiet. here are the the latest statistics. a category one hurricane, north at 6 miles per hour, and the position is 770 miles south of ocean city maryland. its track that's of primary concern, in to sunday night, the timing shifted on the storm. now we are talking late sunday, primarily in to the day monday and tuesday, that turn from out at sea that turn inward towards delmarva. of course the other wild card, where the storm comes in, but also, exactly what type of phasing we get with the cold air to the west. the cold front coming in, jet stream energy ramping the storm up to really historic levels as it moves in to maryland towards monday and tuesday. the cold air will be blasting in. as we take a look at the set up, the trend shows, sandy coming up the coast, jet stream diving in, and the storm strengthening towards sunday nite. there are wild cards, questions with the storm for more on that one. head to mike masco.
